Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Before I chose to become a therapist, I was a client and it was through being a client that I realized how helpful therapy was which ignited my passion to quit my previous career to pursue a Master's in Psychology.
Therapy has helped me sort through many questions that I had being a second-generation Asian American, and it has helped me to honor the values my parents have instilled in me while also nurturing my own values separate from them. It has also helped me build stronger relationships with others, with myself, and cultivate a deeper sense of purpose. It would be an honor for me to help others as well the same way therapy has helped me.
Who/what do I specialize in working with?
I specialize in helping adults who may be experiencing issues related to their cultural identity or may be experiencing intergenerational trauma. I enjoy helping people explore how their childhoods may have impacted who they are today, and have a special interest in working with clients who come from immigrant families.
I also find interest in working with clients who struggle with anxiety and negative thinking. Life is already tough, and having that negative voice behind every action you take can make it even tougher. I believe that our thoughts impact our behaviors and feelings which is why I aim to evaluate how we can reframe our thoughts so that we can better manage our anxiety.
I take a compassion-based approach that is collaborative and client-focused. I am also LGBTQIA+ affirmative and culturally sensitive.
I enjoy cooking new foods and trying out new foods outside of the home. I also enjoy going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and playing games. Finally, I also spend the most time with my two cats (Boba) and (Bella) which you will see from time to time on the screen.
It's not easy taking the time to look for a therapist to only find that they can't help you with your issues, that's why we encourage prospective clients to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.
I want you to know I am here to support you on your journey wherever you are.
You can book a time to chat with me below. I can’t wait to start working with you.

I know it can feel hopeless like nothing might ever help you feel better. I've been there as well. But if you’ve read over this, if you’ve resonated with my story and how I can help you here, then I’d highly recommend you reach out for therapy.
I also know that I am not the right fit for every client, and I encourage you to not give up hope if that’s the case.
Getting your mind to work for you instead of against you, can be the most important thing you do in your life, as it completely changes your perspective on the world.
And I’d be happy to help guide you through it.
